Buy Your Way Bull Sale - HOW TO BID ONLINE

READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All sale terms and conditions must be reviewed and agreed upon prior to registering for a bidder number. You may review the bidder terms and conditions here.

REGISTER FOR BIDDER NUMBER
In order to place bids online you must first register for a bidder number on the auction site (find the link on the home page). After submitting the required information to Hofmann Simmental Farms, a bidder number will be sent to you by email. PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR ONLINE AUCTION PLATFORM HAS MADE CHANGES!! If you have bid online before, your bidder number and password are no longer active and you will have to re-register for a number. As before, this process is not instantaneous, so be sure to allow plenty of time to register and receive your bid number before you bid.  (After registering, check your spam folder for email notifications and add the address bid@buyyourwaybulls (.com) to your safe sender list.) Please keep the bidder number and your password secure.
Registered bidders must be at least 18 years of age.

SALE LISTING
Bulls are designated in the Buy Your Way Bull Sale Catalog as for sale either by Private Treaty or by Limited Auction.  The online auction listings for this sale are for the Limited Auction bulls only.  [Private Treaty bulls must be purchased by telephone or in person.  A listing of the private treaty bulls can be found on the sale update page here and will be updated at least once daily.]

REVIEW LOTS AND PLACE BIDS   [THE BIDDING LINK WILL BE AVAILABLE IN MID TO LATE FEBRUARY]
Because your bid is a contract, please review all catalog information very carefully before placing a bid on any bull. When the bidding for the auction is open you will have the opportunity to enter your bid and your maximum bid for each item. Enter your bidding number and password at the bottom of the screen to submit the bid(s).

A Maximum Bid is the highest dollar amount you are willing to pay for an item. Here is an example of using the Maximum Bid feature. If you enter a Maximum Bid, the system will automatically bid on your behalf up to your Maximum Bid amount.

For example, let’s assume that you enter a bid of $4,500 on an animal and Maximum Bid of $5,000. If no other bids are placed on that item you will be the winner at your $4,500 bid. If another bidder places a bid of 4,550 on the item you will now be winning at $4,550 plus 1 increment level, $4,500 + $50 = $4,550. Your Maximum Bid is completely confidential and not revealed to the public or viewed by anyone other than you when selecting this feature.
